New 250 million euro fund from Endeit

The VC has filled its third fund to the brim. Endeit wants to use it to support scale-ups.
The German-Dutch venture capital firm Endeit has raised a record amount for its third fund. At 250 million euros, the fund is twice as large as the first two together. The fund is managed in Hamburg and Amsterdam. Endeit primarily wants to support European digital scale-ups. "We see enormous potential in scaling up European winners that scale globally and claim a corresponding market share," says Endeit founder Hubert Deitmers. "We have experience in building global market leaders from Europe." The focus will be on machine learning, AI and quantum technology.
Ten founders who have benefited from Endeit themselves in previous rounds are now active as investors. These include the founders of the Lightspeed checkout system and the video advertising provider Smartclip, which was bought by the RTL media group. A total of 35 start-ups have already received money from Endeit.
Endeit was founded in 2006 by television producer Joop van den Ende and Hubert Deitmers. Van den Ende left the company in April of this year. Deitmers now runs the VC together with Martijn Hamann.
