Upmin raises over four million euros in its seed financing round. The proptech not only wants to use this to make strategic acquisitions, but also to double the size of its team.

Berlin-based proptech Upmin has raised over four million euros in its seed financing round. Upmin intends to use the funds to make acquisitions and, above all, to expand its team of currently 23 employees by 25. The venture capital companies P3A Ventures and Bitstone as well as the companies Scout24 and Swiss Life have invested. Christian Angermayer's family office Apeiron Investment Group is also involved. Business angels include former Immoscout24 CEO Marc Stilke, founder Christian Gaiser, Jan Sprengnetter, owner of the group of the same name, which carries out real estate valuations, and other unnamed investors.

"Our focus is on growth - that's why we are examining the market for strategic acquisitions and are intensively looking for suitable partners in the area of management with whom we can work locally," says Upmin founder Henning Frank. The start-up is aimed at owners and landlords who are looking for help with managing their properties. All of Upmin's individual steps can be viewed in the customer account and processes are digitized, saving time. Founder Frank had already founded and managed start-ups in the real estate sector before Upmin, such as Zinsland and Dahler & Company.

"We see enormous growth potential in Upmin and look forward to supporting the platform as it continues to grow," says Bitstone Partner Kai Panitzki. Upmin currently manages 3,542 apartments in 645 buildings.
