The start-up has completed its pre-Series A financing round. The money will primarily be used to further develop the company's own technology.

The mobile security start-up Build38 has received three million euros in growth capital in its Pre-Series A round. Two new investors are involved: Caixa Capital Risc and eCapital VC. The seed investor G+D Ventures will also remain with the start-up. The start-up intends to use the capital it has received primarily to drive forward its expansion into other markets and further develop its security solutions with AI functions.

Build38 sells digital car keys, mobile tickets, SoftPOS, a new form of payment by cell phone, and state-approved mobile IDs, among other things. The start-up was founded two years ago. The money will be used to build a new security feature that not only protects apps from potential attacks and threats, but can also predict when they might occur. "Although 2020 was full of challenges, we took the opportunity to explore our market and growth strategies and started to identify and develop the relevant sales channels," says CEO Christian Schläger, commenting on the further goals. "Following on from this, we have already succeeded in establishing long-term customer relationships and generating business."
