Careloop receives 600,000 euros

The recruiting start-up for nursing staff from abroad has completed its seed financing round. The founders plan to further expand their platform in the coming months.
Six investors invested in the start-up Careloop in March, as has now been announced. The start-up has set itself the task of placing care workers from abroad in Germany. "With Careloop, we want to solve the shortage of nursing staff in an innovative way that benefits both foreign nursing staff and the German healthcare system," says co-founder Matti Fischer.
The Swiss Founders Fund (SFF) led the 600,000 euro financing round, as reported by Wiwo founder reports. The Klambt media group, WestTech Ventures, HNC Capital and other angel investors also invested. Investitionsbank Berlin also added a start-up bonus of 50,000 euros.
The founders apparently want to use the money to expand their platform and hire additional employees. In addition, part of the sum will be invested in the Careloop Academy. This will enable foreign nursing staff to compensate for any deficits in their own training compared to Germany. This should also keep the drop-out rate low. It is currently below five percent, as Matti Fischer told Wiwo founder .
