The service provider of e-bike subscriptions was able to convince Verena Pausder and Roxanne Varza, among others, of its concept.

The Berlin start-up Dance has raised a total of 16.5 million euros in a financing round. The money came from the investment firm Eurazeo, among others. Prominent business angels also participated. These include Verena Pausder, founder of the digital children's studio Fox & Sheep, and Roxann Varza, Director of the Paris start-up incubator Station F. Nicolas Berggruen, founder of the Berggruen Institute and Noema Magazine, as well as Dave Morin and James Higa, co-founders of Offline Ventures, also provided money.

E-bikes can be subscribed to monthly via Dance, so far only in Berlin. According to the start-up, it will use the new funding to double the size of its team, among other things. The start-up launched its subscription service in Berlin at the end of August after a one-year pilot and test phase. "We are proud to welcome them and other new angel investors as part of the Dance movement as we focus on creating more sustainable cities," says Eric Quidenus-Wahlforss, co-founder and CEO of Dance.
