Düsseldorf fintech Compeon receives 15 million euros

New investors are Iris Capital, NRW.Bank and Qatar Development Bank.
The Compeon financial platform has successfully completed its Series C financing round. The Düsseldorf-based start-up was able to raise a total of 15 million euros. New investors include the venture capital company Iris Capital, NRW.Bank and Qatar Development Bank. Existing investors Tengelmann, b-to-v Partners and Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures have also provided money. In total, Compeon has already raised 35 million euros, more than any other start-up from Düsseldorf.
"We will use the funds from this round to continue investing in our growth and consistently expand our market leadership," says Frank Wüller, co-founder and Managing Director of Compeon. The start-up accepts financing requests from companies, checks their eligibility for funding and acts as an intermediary for lenders. Currently, 300 banks, savings banks and other financial service providers offer financing solutions via the platform.
In total, more than 1.4 billion euros have already been disbursed to companies.
