Global Savings Group and Pepper merge

The offerings of the two companies complement each other: while Pepper operates shopping communities, the Global Savings Group offers access to cashback and savings opportunities.

The Global Savings Group (GSG) has joined forces with the Pepper shopping community. A corresponding agreement has already been signed. Together, the companies want to develop further technologies and become the largest platform for shopping solutions.

The Global Savings Group offers consumers access to savings opportunities, cashbacks and product reviews. Founded in 2012, the Munich-based company has grown primarily through acquisitions. In 2018, GSG acquired the British company Pouch, followed by the acquisitions of cashback providers Igraal and Shoop in 2020 and 2021. Most recently, the US company Coupons.com was added. Pepper includes shopping communities such as Dealabs, Hotukdeals and Mydeals.
