Healthcaters closes pre-seed financing round

The Berliners have developed an app for the health management of employees in companies and have now raised a seven-figure sum from DvH Ventures in their pre-seed financing round.
Prevention is better than aftercare, which is also in the interests of your own employer. The start-up Healthcaters combines these two points in an app that covers occupational health management. The Berlin-based company has now raised a seven-figure sum in its pre-seed financing round. It comes from the 60 million euro Digital Health Fund of Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures (DvH Ventures).
"We are delighted that DvH Ventures is supporting us on our journey to drive the much-needed change in the healthcare sector," say founders Tatyana Eliseeva and Lilia Kruse. "We firmly believe that their professional approach, expertise and experience will help us to further advance HealthCaters in the coming months and years."
With the Healthcaters app, companies can provide their employees with a health kiosk: In it, biometric health data is collected, offers are made for a visit to the doctor or digital advice is given. In return, companies can monitor the productivity and health of their employees or use tools to create surveys and their own offers. This is what convinced DvH Ventures: "The founders Tatyana Eliseeva and Lilia Kruse are focused, highly motivated and very entrepreneurial. Combined with their impressive experience and high level of business and medical expertise, they make it easy for us to invest," says Duc Quyen Tran from DvH Ventures.
