Katjes Greenfood starts crowdfunding

Be part of making the food world more sustainable and greener - this is Katjes Greenfood's promise to small investors who can invest in the company via crowdfunding. Katjes Greenfood invests in early-stage start-ups with sustainable and ethical products.

Haferkater, The Rainforest and Veganz are just three of the many investments made by the investment company Katjes Greenfood, sister company of the confectionery manufacturer Katjes. And anyone who wants to participate in these investments currently has the opportunity to take part as an investor in the entrepreneur's crowdfunding campaign and "revolutionize the food industry with more innovative, healthier and more sustainable products", as Katjes Greenfood writes.

Investors can participate with a subordinated loan of at least 1,000 euros with a term of five years. In the event of a possible exit of one of the start-ups in which Katjes Greenfood invests, the small investors receive five percent bonus interest. The company has set a funding threshold of one million euros, 56 percent of which has been reached so far. The total issue volume is three million euros. The campaign will run until September, but can be extended.

In seed and Series A financing rounds, Katjes Greenfood focuses on start-ups with a turnover of at least one million euros and healthy, sustainable and ethical products. The team is based in Düsseldorf and Los Angeles.
