Munich start-up cooperates with Interpol

IDNow develops methods to verify identities. The start-up has now announced a partnership with the international criminal police.
The Munich-based identity verification provider IDNow has announced a partnership with Interpol. The start-up plans to run training programs for law enforcement and immigration authorities for twelve months. The program is scheduled to start at the end of this month in Abu Dhabi.
"We are very excited to be working with Interpol to share our knowledge and experience in fraud prevention," said Lovro Persen, Director Document Management & Fraud at the start-up. Persen has more than 24 years of experience in identity and fraud management on a national and international level, according to IDNow. Fraud scams on the Internet are on the rise. For this reason, Persen will train the relevant officials at Interpol and provide insights into the latest trends and developments.
Dennis von Ferenczy, Sebastian Bärhold, Armin Bauer and Felix Haas founded IDNow in 2014. The founders offer various solutions for verifying identities on their platform. The solutions range from automated to human options. The processes are intended to optimize the security of users on online platforms. The company claims to have more than 900 international customers, including N26, Solarisbank and Tier Mobility.
