Parconomy and Digipark merge

Digipark will continue to exist as a brand, but the previous Parconomy boss will take over the management of the company. EnBW remains on board as a strategic investor.
The two Stuttgart-based parking start-ups Digipark and Parconomy are merging. With immediate effect, both will continue to operate under the Digipark brand. The new managing director of the combined company will be Thomas Stebich, the co-founder and previous managing director of Parconomy. The company behind Parconomy, Enpulse Ventures, a subsidiary of the energy supplier EnBW, will also remain on board as a strategic investor.
The merger with Parconomy means that Digipark is now the leading provider of digital parking solutions in Germany, Digipark announced. The start-up offers parking facility operators various hardware and software solutions, including the option of making the parking process - for example in parking garages - completely contactless without a ticket.
"We are very much looking forward to growing together," says the new Managing Director Stebich. "With digital parking, we not only want to reach the operators, but above all win the hearts of drivers. It should be fun for them to use digital solutions such as parking apps. And the solutions should help to eventually make the streets free of parked cars."
