Plan A receives three million US dollars

Venture capitalists Demeter from France and Coparion from Germany lead the financing round. Softbank becomes a strategic investor.
The start-up Plan A has raised three million US dollars for its software, which enables companies to monitor and reduce their emissions. The Berlin-based start-up apparently intends to use the money to further develop its software and drive forward its international expansion.
Plan A's software is designed to enable companies to manage their carbon footprint while reducing their negative impact on the planet. The start-up was founded in 2017 and has already won customers such as Société Générale, GANNI, AlbionVC, BMW Foundation, BCG Digital Ventures and Werder Bremen soccer club.
"In our opinion, their solution is not only the most versatile product for automated issue capture on the market, but also creates transparency in issue and cost structures as well as significant added value for companies through the introduction of automated business process optimization," says Alexander Lüttge, Partner at Coparion, explaining the investment decision.
