Plan3t raises 750,000 euros

The start-up convinced investors with a sustainable payback-like app.
The Hamburg-based start-up Plan3t has raised 750,000 euros in a pre-seed financing round. The investors include APX, Hamburgische Investitions- und Förderbank and several business angels.
According to information from t3n Plan3t now wants to work on an open banking integration for its app. Users should be able to link their private account with the Payback app in order to see the carbon footprint of their transactions and make more environmentally friendly consumption decisions.
The start-up was founded by Christian Gärtner, Lukas Wehrhahn and Kaspar Wehrhahn and has developed an app that calculates individual annual CO2 consumption. On this basis, users receive tips for a more sustainable lifestyle and can test their knowledge in quizzes. They then receive Planet Coins for correct answers, which they can exchange for vouchers from sustainable partner companies.
