Six-figure sum for Teech

How does digital school work? Politicians and the school system are currently asking themselves this question. The start-up Teech claims to have found the answers. The company was able to raise a six-figure sum.

Udo and Sabrina Schloemer are convinced: the start-up Teech has potential. The two founders of Factory Berlin have now invested a high six-figure sum in Teech, as reported by Wiwo Gründer. Investors and founders have apparently not disclosed the exact amount.

Teech started in March last year with the aim of transferring lessons to the digital realm. Conferences can be held via the platform in a similar way to Zoom, but with requirements adapted to the classroom such as reporting, taking turns, going to the blackboard and divided table groups. Five to six schools are currently joining every day; according to the founders, there are currently 200 in Germany.

Will the start-up disappear after corona? The founders want to prevent that. They are to be used, for example, to connect schools digitally, for example if a teacher is absent or to establish project groups across national borders. Learning through play could also be integrated.
