High-Tech Gründerfonds is investing a seven-figure sum in the start-up Tech11. The Würzburg-based company operates a platform for insurance and claims management.

High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) is investing a seven-figure sum in Tech11, an insurtech founded by Pierre Dubosq and Matthias Reining in Würzburg in 2018.

"We were impressed by the combination of an impressive founding team with outstanding market knowledge and a technically superior solution for a large market with a significant investment backlog," says Dominik Lohle from HTGF. And draws a big comparison: "Tech11 will change the market for core insurance software, just as providers like mambu have done for the core banking sector."

Tech11 opened another branch in Cologne last year and is planning to open more locations and hire new employees. The start-up's customers already include companies such as Ergo. Tech11 has developed an end-to-end platform for contract and claims management. "The process-driven architecture allows our customers a flexible product and process design as well as easy integration into their existing IT landscape," says founder and CEO Matthias Reining, explaining his product.
