City of Mannheim is looking for start-ups
Founders from the city can apply until the end of August. The prize is 10,000 euros.
The city of Mannheim is once again awarding the MEXI start-up prize in three categories. Founders from the fields of technology, services and social economy can apply until the end of August. The prize money is 10,000 euros.
The prize is sponsored by the pharmaceutical company Roche, Sparkasse Rhein Neckar Nord and the City of Mannheim. The city calls it the most highly endowed regional prize for start-ups in Germany. The winners also receive a full-page advertisement in the business magazine Econo. "The MEXI award ceremony is one of our highlight activities to promote start-ups," says Christiane Ram, Head of Economic Development.
The awards will be presented by the organizers on 25 November as part of the Mannheim Business Forum. The prerequisite for participation is that the company was founded after March 31, 2018 and must be based in Mannheim. More information and the application documents can be found here.
