Tomorrow raises 14 million euros

It's not just investors who are repeatedly giving the Hamburg-based start-up money - anyone and everyone else has the chance to invest in Tomorrow. The fintech is launching its second round of crowdinvesting on October 18.

The Hamburg-based start-up Tomorrow raises 14 million euros in a financing round and at the same time announces the possibility of crowdinvesting for small investors. Existing investors as well as new investors such as the Büll family office from Hamburg, the venture capital firm Abacon Capital and Torben Schreiter, founder of Signavio, are participating in the financing round.

"We are delighted with the trust placed in us by our new investors as well as our long-standing supporters. Without them, we would not be able to pursue our mission and bring sustainable banking to the mass market," says co-founder Michael Schweikart. Tomorrow plans to use the money to expand its offering and team. By the end of 2022, 200 employees should be working for the start-up; currently, 70 people work for Tomorrow.

The second part of the money will be raised via micro-investors. Tomorrow already used this opportunity to participate last year: "Since then, we have been asked every week when there will be another chance for those who were unable to participate in crowdinvesting last year," says Schweikert. From October 18, anyone can invest from 100 euros and up to 25,000 euros in the start-up and thus participate in the company's development and profits. This is made possible by the Wiwin platform from Mainz, which organizes crowdinvesting in sustainable companies.
