Over three million euros for Autoretouch

Breuninger invests in the start-up from Stuttgart. The seed round comprises 3.2 million euros.
The start-up Autoretouch was created as a project within the traditional company Breuninger. The Stuttgart-based company has now been able to raise 3.2 million euros in a seed round, which Breuninger is also providing. The company joined the Stuttgart-based start-up as an investor last July.
The start-up was founded in April 2020 by Alex Ciorapciu, Julian Eckerle and Till Lorentzen. It has developed AI-based image editing software that is designed to make it easier for companies and photographers to quickly and professionally improve product images. For example, the start-up's algorithm is designed to recognize skin blemishes in photos and smooth them out by hand.
Autoretouch emerged from the beta phase last November. The additional money will be used to improve the software, acquire customers and expand the team. The company currently employs 16 people.
