Vivid cooperates with Viafintech

The start-up Viafintech will now make its payment infrastructure available to Vivid. This means that Vivid customers will also be able to make cash deposits at the supermarket checkout.
Vivid Money and Viafintech announce their cooperation for cash deposits. Viafintech has been part of the Paysafe payment platform since November 2021. The start-up has developed the Barzahlen and Viacash brands and offers solutions for depositing and withdrawing cash without ATMs or bank branches. Customers can withdraw and deposit their money at supermarkets and drugstores. The start-up claims to cooperate with more than 20,000 retail partners in Europe. According to the company, these include Rewe, Rossmann, Penny and Dm.
Viafintech's solutions are now also to be used by the financial platform Vivid, which was founded in 2019. Until now, depositing cash into a current account has been difficult for banks that do not have their own branches. "We are therefore delighted to now also offer Vivid customers the opportunity to make cash deposits conveniently when shopping at the supermarket or drugstore," says Sebastian Seifert, Managing Director and co-founder of Viafintech. Seifert founded the start-up together with Achim Bönsch in 2011. In addition to Germany, the company is now also active in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Spain.
