WHU Entrepreneurship Center cooperates with Microsoft

The technology giant from the USA supports the Entrepreneurship Center and the Start-up Academy for pupils organized by students.
WHU receives support from Microsoft for its Entrepreneurship Center. The US tech company is involved in the WHU Accelerator Program, in which mentors from companies advise start-up teams and help them to develop their business model. Microsoft also provides teaching material for the Master's course "Data Driven Entrepreneurship". The aim is to teach Master's students how to use the "Power BI" tool to convert data into visual dashboards.
Microsoft is also involved in the WHU Start-up Academy. In this, students organize a two-day conference for pupils from the tenth grade upwards. They provide students with basic knowledge about start-ups and encourage them to become self-employed.
WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management is one of the start-up universities in Germany. Fifteen unicorns can be traced back to founders who studied at the private university. These include Audibene, Clark, Enpal, Flink, Flixbus, Forto, Hello Fresh, Home24, Jokr, My Toys, Raisin DS, Rocket Internet, Skrill, Sumup and Zalando.
