5 million euros for dermanostic

The Solingen-based HealthTech startup dermanostic, Europe's leading online dermatology practice, has successfully closed a Pre-Series A financing round of 5 million euros. The round was led by Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures (DvH Ventures). The fresh capital will primarily be used for growth in the German market and market entry in other EU countries.

Digital access to dermatologist treatment

Founded in 2019, the company offers fully digital dermatologist treatment via an app, including diagnosis, treatment recommendation and prescription within 24 hours. Treatment is carried out asynchronously using a picture-text process: Patients send photos of their skin changes as well as a medical history form, whereupon an experienced team of dermatology specialists makes a diagnosis.

In addition to the lead investor DvH Ventures, existing partners and supporters are also part of the new group of shareholders. The investment is a clear signal of confidence in the scalability and relevance of digital care models in dermatology.

With over 25,000 patients treated, TÜV certification for data protection, a certified medical device in accordance with MDR 2017/745 and an interdisciplinary team of dermatologists, nurses and specialists from other fields, dermanostic has established itself as a pioneer in digital skin health.
