Media Broadcast Satellite becomes Reflex Aerospace's first commercial customer. SpaceFounders and Beyond Gravity have decided to cooperate on their start-up programs in the future.

Munich - The start-up Reflex Aerospace has won its first commercial customer, MBS. Reflex, which specializes in the development of innovative satellites, will use its expertise in design and manufacturing to support MBS in the provision of space technologies. The launch date for the satellite has already been set for fall 2024, representing an important milestone for both companies. MBS is an established service integrator and network operator with more than 40 years of experience in the space sector. Reflex will develop and produce a customized satellite that will set new standards in satellite manufacturing. The announcement comes almost two years after Reflex Aerospace was founded and shortly after a successful seed funding round raise(we reported).

Start-ups are jointly supported by Beyond Gravity and SpaceFounders

Zurich - SpaceFounders and Beyond Gravity have decided to collaborate on their start-up programs. Both organizations offer tailor-made programs to support young companies in the space sector. Beyond Gravity is a leading supplier to the space industry and the largest Swiss space company, while SpaceFounders is the start-up program of the French space agency CNES, the University of the Federal Armed Forces and the Italian space agency ASI. Through a cooperation agreement, they will strengthen the exchange between their programs and work closely together to evaluate and select start-ups. The close cooperation with established companies from the space sector offers the young companies practical advantages in terms of development, testing and market access.

By collaborating with industry partner Beyond Gravity, we complement our offering by adding complementary expertise to our network, expertise, mentor pool and outstanding program.
