EUR 1 million pre-seed for bNear

bNear has successfully raised over one million euros in capital in its first financing round. The investors include allygatr and NRW Bank.

The investors allygatr and NRW Bank complement existing backers such as Flossbach von Storch and various business angels from the DACH region. The money will be used to grow the bNear team, develop new features and expand marketing and sales activities.

bNear has developed a virtual office as an app for Microsoft Teams that can be seamlessly integrated into Microsoft 365. The aim of bNear is to offer employees working from home a better way to connect with each other. The virtual office makes it easier for them to communicate with each other and provides more space for informal conversations.

The special thing about it is that chance encounters are also possible, just like when you bump into each other in a real office. The bNear Office is therefore a digital solution that helps organizations to better connect their home office teams and improve communication and information sharing. It enables employees to stay in touch with each other and create a sense of togetherness despite the physical distance.

bNear was founded in Cologne in March 2022 by Sascha Theismann, Malte Hendricks, Martin Lang and Fritz Fried. The team now consists of 11 employees from the fields of new work, coaching, consulting and digital experts. The startup was accepted into the Microsoft Founders Hubs and is part of various initiatives such as Gateway Exzelenz Start-up Center, digihub Düsseldorf, TechHub.K67 and Digitalhub Bonn.
