EUR 1 million pre-seed for bNear

bNear has successfully raised over one million euros in capital in its first round of financing. Investors include allygatr and NRW Bank.

The investors allygatr and NRW Bank complement existing backers such as Flossbach von Storch and various business angels from the DACH region. The money will be used to grow bNear's team, develop new features and expand marketing and sales activities.

bNear has developed a virtual office as an app for Microsoft Teams that seamlessly integrates with Microsoft 365. The goal of bNear is to provide home office workers with a better way to connect with each other. With the virtual office, they can more easily interact with each other and there is more room for informal conversations.

The special thing about it is that chance meetings are also possible, similar to when you run into each other in the real office. So the bNear Office is a digital solution that helps organizations better connect their home office teams and improve communication and information sharing. It enables employees to stay connected and create a sense of belonging, despite the physical distance.

bNear was founded in March 2022 by Sascha Theismann, Malte Hendricks, Martin Lang and Fritz Fried in Cologne. The team now consists of 11 employees from the areas of new work, coaching, consulting and digital experts. The startup was accepted into the Microsoft Founders Hubs and is part of various initiatives such as Gateway Exzelenz Start-up Center, digihub Düsseldorf, TechHub.K67 and Digitalhub Bonn.
