12.5 million euros for Unstoppable Finance
US investor Lightspeed Venture Partners leads the financing round.
Unstoppable Finance has successfully completed its Series A financing round and raised a total of 12.5 million euros. US investor Lightspeed Venture Partners is the lead investor. The US fund became known in Germany because it holds a stake in the Munich-based HR software company Personio, among others. Existing investors such as Discovery Ventures, Rockaway Blockchain Fund and Speedinvest have also participated. "The deal was signed in early July and follows the €4.5 million seed round closed in October 2021," the company said.
The funds will be used to launch the Ultimate cryptocurrency app. Despite the gloomy outlook for the cryptocurrency markets, 300,000 customers have signed up to Ultimate's waiting list, according to the company. A global launch is planned for this year and testing is set to begin immediately. The team currently consists of 25 members.
