7.2 million euros for Simpleclub

Simpleclub would like to expand into other countries. Business angels and investors have supported the edtech.
Edtech Simpleclub has received 7.2 million euros in a Series A financing round. 10x Founders is a new investor and led the round, with existing investor HV Capital also participating. According to information from Gründerszene several business angels have also invested, including Schüttflix Managing Director Christian Hülsewig, investor Verena Pausder, Flixbus founder Daniel Krauss, Sennder founders David Nothacker, Julius Kurt Köhler and Nicolaus Schefenacker and Coachhub founder Matti Niebelschütz.
Simpleclub started with educational videos on YouTube. In 2015, Nicolai Schork and Alexander Giesecke then founded the start-up of the same name and set up an online learning platform. Students can find learning videos, original A-level exams, tasks with solutions and ready-made summaries there. They also benefit from personalized learning plans and can track their progress with statistics.
Simpleclub intends to use the capital from the financing round to fulfill its mission "We educate the world": The edtech wants to expand nationally and internationally. "We believe that simpleclub will be the world's leading provider of digital educational content in just a few years," says Robert Wuttke from 10x Founders.
