Audi launches accelerator program

The aim of the program is to promote founders and start-ups and to bring bring digital business models in the field of mobility to market maturity.

The Audi Denkwerkstatt is launching a new accelerator program together with its cooperation partner Techstars. The aim is to develop sustainable solutions for the mobility sector. Founders can apply for the pre-accelerator program from 1 August and for the accelerator program from 26 September 2022.

In the pre-accelerator phase, the Audi Denkwerkstatt and Techstars will support participants in developing an idea and building the right team. Participants also receive pitch coaching and can exchange ideas with mentors. In the accelerator program, the founders can further develop their product and gain access to capital. This phase could also lead to a long-term partnership between the start-ups and Audi.

"Our aim is to develop innovations in a customer-oriented, fast and efficient manner and bring them to market maturity," says Tim Miksche, Head of the Audi Denkwerkstatt. At the same time, the program would strengthen the interface between the car manufacturer and the start-up scene.
