The aim of the program is to promote founders and start-ups and to bring bring digital business models in the field of mobility to market maturity.

Audi Denkwerkstatt is launching a new accelerator program together with its cooperation partner Techstars. The aim of this, it says, is to develop sustainable solutions for the mobility sector. From August 1, founders can apply for the Pre-Accelerator Program and from September 26, 2022 for the Accelerator Program.

In the Pre-Accelerator phase, Audi Denkwerkstatt and Techstars will support participants in developing an idea and building the appropriate team. Participants also receive pitch coaching and can exchange ideas with mentors. In the Accelerator program, founders can further develop their product and gain access to capital. This phase could also lead to a long-term partnership between the start-ups and Audi.

"Our goal: We want to develop innovations in a customer-oriented, fast and efficient way and bring them to market," says Tim Miksche, head of the Audi Think Tank. At the same time, the program would strengthen the interface between the automaker and the start-up scene.
