The Munich-based start-up wants to bring more security to the NFT world. It is now being supported by payment service provider Mastercard.

The German-Indian analytics company Bitscrunch is being supported by Mastercard's start-up program. The payment service provider's funding program helps promising start-ups to grow in a more targeted manner and build a global customer base.

"Working with Mastercard Start Path helps us to deliver the best solutions for emerging customers in the crypto industry," says Vijay Pravin, founder and CEO of Bitscrunch. Pravin founded the company in 2021 together with Saravanan Jaichandaran. The start-up now has 22 employees. Bitscrunch sees itself as a supervisory authority in the NFT ecosystem. The company wants to make it possible to identify counterfeits and determine the true value of NFTs. These services can be integrated into any NFT marketplace.

With the new collaboration, Mastercard also wants to enter the crypto sector. The payment service provider wants to enable its customers to buy digital assets securely. Bitscrunch supports Mastercard with solutions designed to help customers make informed buying and selling decisions and detect counterfeits.
