The Munich-based start-up wants to bring more security to the NFT world. Now it is being funded by payment service provider Mastercard.

German-Indian analytics company Bitscrunch is being supported by Mastercard's startup program. The payment service provider's funding program helps promising startups grow more purposefully and build a global customer base.

"Working with Mastercard Start Path helps us deliver the best solutions for emerging crypto customers," said Vijay Pravin, founder and CEO of Bitscrunch. Pravin co-founded the company in 2021 with Saravanan Jaichandaran. The startup now already has 22 employees. Bitscrunch sees itself as a control authority in the NFT ecosystem. The company wants to make it possible to identify counterfeits and determine the true value of NFTs. These services can be integrated into any NFT marketplace.

With the new collaboration, Mastercard also wants to enter the crypto sector. With this, the payment service provider wants to enable its customers to buy digital assets securely. Bitscrunch supports Mastercard with solutions designed to help customers make informed buying and selling decisions and expose counterfeits.
