The Cologne-based start-up gains Flossbach von Storch, among others, as a strategic investor. The idea: a virtual office.

The Cologne-based start-up BNear has successfully completed its first pre-seed financing round and raised a total of 700,000 euros from various investors and business angels. The start-up from the Rhineland was able to attract asset manager Flossbach von Storch as a strategic investor. The money will be used to expand the development team.

Founded in 2022 by Martin Lang, Fritz Fried, Sascha Theismann and Malte Hendricks, the start-up offers a virtual office solution that aims to solve the problems between working from home and a real office. The team, which now has nine employees, wants to solve this with a virtual office that can be integrated into Microsoft Teams, among other things. Among other things, this virtual environment is designed to enable chance meetings.
