Brainjo receives 400,000 euros

Brain sports with VR glasses: Brainjo offers this for companies and fitness studios. The Regensburg-based company has now secured follow-up financing.
Brainjo has received follow-up financing in the amount of 400,000 euros from Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Pressath and the Bavarian funding program BayTOU. The start-up from Regensburg only recently completed its first product, the "VR Gehirnsport Station". With the help of VR glasses, users can test their memory performance, reaction speed and speed of action, for example.
Alexander Pilling, Christian Michael Gnerlich, Thomas Slawik, Markus Wensauer and Constantin Demigha founded the start-up in Regensburg in 2020. Brainjo has so far received 100,000 euros from the Exist program of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and the Bavarian funding program Flügge.
Brainjo's brain sports applications are aimed primarily at fitness studios and companies. The start-up has also developed an app so that employees can compare their results and compete with each other. At the end of 2021, OTH Amberg-Weiden tested the Brainjo product with around 30 test subjects. Over the test phase of five weeks, the test subjects were able to improve their reaction time compared to a control group.
