CNC24 receives 8.25 million euros

The platform for precision components intends to use the new capital to expand in Europe and also enter the Asian market in the medium term.
The digital platform for precision components CNC24 has raised 8.25 million euros in its first financing round. The round was led by the Japanese SBI fund Future Industry and Wefox co-founders Fabian Wesemann and Dario Fazlic. Venture capitalists Coparion, Equity Pitcher and existing investor Seedcamp are also participating in the round. The start-up plans to use the new capital to expand in Europe and enter the Asian market in the medium term. To this end, the Berlin-based company wants to hire new employees and expand its supplier network.
Willi Ruopp and Marlon Gerat founded the start-up in 2019. The founders have developed a B2B procurement platform that supplies all industrial sectors with production parts. Thanks to its global network of suppliers, the company can guarantee material availability and on-time delivery of components.
"In increasingly volatile markets characterized by supply chain risks, CNC24 addresses an important problem in the manufacturing industry," says Stefano Gurciullo, Partner at Future Industry Ventures. For many companies, industrial component procurement is often a costly and time-consuming task. The start-up would counteract this problem with its platform.
