This is the last founder to leave the Berlin-based fintech. Holzbach wants to devote herself to new professional challenges.

Jessica Holzbach is leaving Penta Bank at the end of the month. This was announced by the fintech. Holzbach co-founded the start-up and was a member of the management team for four years. "She will be taking on a new professional challenge outside of Penta, but will remain involved in the company," the press release states. Holzbach was most recently responsible for marketing, business development and customer relationship management as Chief Customer Officer on the management board of the Berlin digital bank.

Holzbach's departure is at his own request, the statement continues. CEO Markus Pertlwieser thanks the co-founder: "Penta has a lot to thank Jessica for. She has played a key role in shaping the company's history and driving its growth forward."

Penta was founded in 2017. The fintech has been operating under the company builder Finleap since 2019. The company offers business accounts to the self-employed and small and medium-sized enterprises. Just a few days ago, Penta passed the 30,000 corporate customer mark. The start-up employs around 150 people in Berlin and Belgrade.
