Dominik Dreyer goes to Homeday

The start-up's new Chief Commercial Officer comes from Just Eat Takeaway. Dreyer will focus on scaling Homeday.

Dominik Dreyer joined the management team of real estate agent start-up Homeday in April. The company created a new position with him: Dreyer is now Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, the 45-year-old will lead all of the company's commercial teams. He will also be responsible for scaling the business model. One of his most important tasks is to develop new sources of revenue. In addition to Dreyer, the management team also includes Steffen Wicker (CEO), Roger Schwarz (CPTO) and Dmitri Uvarovski (CMO).

Dreyer can look back on more than 15 years of experience in building and managing international companies. Previously, he was Senior Director Sales Europe at Just Eat Takeaway. There he led sales teams in 16 European countries. Dreyer held other management positions between 2011 and 2020. What Homeday could be particularly interested in: The manager has a lot of experience with so-called business transformation projects. One of his specialties: He dovetailed sales and operations processes more closely and drove the development of data- and technology-based infrastructures.

Homeday operates nationwide and aims to use technology to make real estate sales "simpler, more transparent and cheaper". The company arranges estate agents on site. According to Homeday, it has brokered over three billion euros worth of real estate since it was founded in 2015. The company employs more than 260 people in Berlin and Cologne as well as 230 independent estate agents throughout Germany.
