Dominik Dreyer goes to Homeday

The startup's new chief commercial officer joins from Just Eat Takeaway. Dreyer is to focus on scaling Homeday.

Dominik Dreyer joined the management team of real estate brokerage start-up Homeday in April. With him, the company created a new post: Dreyer is now Chief Commercial Officer there. In the role, the 45-year-old is expected to lead all of the company's commercial teams. He is also to be responsible for scaling the business model. One of his most important tasks: developing new revenue streams. In addition to Dreyer, Steffen Wicker (CEO), Roger Schwarz (CPTO) and Dmitri Uvarovski (CMO) are also part of the management team.

Dreyer has more than 15 years of experience in building and leading international companies. Previously, he served as Senior Director Sales Europe at Just Eat Takeaway. There, he led sales teams in 16 European countries. Between 2011 and 2020, Dreyer held other management positions. What Homeday could be targeting in particular: The manager has a lot of experience with so-called business transformation projects. One of his specialties: He dovetailed sales and operations processes more closely and drove the development of data- and technology-based infrastructures.

Homeday operates nationwide and aims to use technology to make real estate sales "easier, more transparent and more affordable." The company brokers real estate agents on site. Since its founding in 2015, Homeday says it has brokered more than three billion euros in real estate volume. The company employs more than 260 people at its Berlin and Cologne locations, as well as 230 independent brokers throughout Germany.
