One million euros for Triqbriq

The Stuttgart-based start-up has successfully completed its Series A round. Series production of the self-developed wooden building blocks is now set to begin.
The construction start-up Triqbriq has raised one million euros in its Series A financing round. The money comes primarily from an unnamed Hamburg family office, with existing investors also participating again. Thanks to the newly raised capital, Triqbriq now wants to start series production.
The start-up, founded in Stuttgart in 2021, offers a solid wood construction system for houses based on standardized building blocks, known as Briqs. The company produces these from damaged and weak wood, which it claims is CO2-negative. The Briqs can be combined without artificial fasteners and can later be both dismantled and reused.
"We have some exciting projects in the pipeline for this year and are now on schedule to deliver them on time," says Triqbriq CEO Maximilian Wörner.
