Evulpo raises around 7.7 million euros

The start-up also wants to offer its tutoring platform in South America and Africa in the future.
The tutoring platform Evulpo has raised 7.7 million euros in its seed financing round. Swiss VC Serpentine Ventures as well as family offices and business angels, such as Wefox founder Dario Fazlic, invested.
Christian Marty, Manuel Kant and Jonas Fehlmann founded Evulpo 2020 in Zurich. The start-up has developed an e-learning platform that aims to provide better access to tutoring. The platform contains explanatory videos, summaries and interactive exercises. "What sets us apart from other tutoring platforms is our clear focus on curricula and free basic access that covers all major and minor subjects," says Marty. A paid subscription is only necessary if the service is used very intensively.
In addition to Germany and Switzerland, the platform has also been available in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the UK since the end of 2022. "We are planning to expand to South America and Africa in the fourth quarter," says Kant. "People there have a high level of digital affinity and there is a clear need for easy access to education."
