Flink and Wolt cooperate

In Berlin, customers can now also order Flink products via the Wolt app.
In future, the delivery service Flink will also have its groceries delivered via the Wolt app, as the industry portal supermarket blog reports. The two instant delivery services initially want to test the service at a location in Berlin Mitte. To this end, the Wolt app has now activated the Flink range, which includes around 2,600 products. "Our aim is to become the app for everything, and alongside partners such as Penny, Lush and Blume2000, brands such as Flink are of course a must," a Wolt spokesperson told Supermarktblog.
Customers apparently have to pay a little more for the items they order than with Flink's own app. While a fruit spread from Flink's own brand Flink's Finest costs 2.89 euros via the Flink app, customers with the Wolt app pay 3.29 euros for it. "Pricing is the responsibility of our local partners," a Wolt spokesperson is quoted as saying by Supermarktblog. "As a Wolt platform, we have no influence here". Some of the items are apparently more expensive, but delivery from Wolt is slightly cheaper than from Flink.
The two companies do not want to communicate any plans or details of the partnership at the moment. It is therefore still unclear whether other cities will be included in the partnership in the future.
