Flink and Wolt cooperate

In Berlin, customers can now order Flink products via the Wolt app.

The delivery service Flink will also have its groceries delivered via Wolt's app in the future, as the industry portal Supermarket blog reports. The two instant delivery services want to test the offer at a location in Berlin Mitte for the time being. For this purpose, the Wolt app has now unlocked the Flink range, which includes around 2,600 products. "Our goal is to become the app for everything, and in addition to partners such as Penny, Lush or Blume2000, brands such as Flink cannot be missing, of course," a Wolt spokesperson told Supermarktblog.

Customers apparently have to pay a little more for the items they order than with Flink's own app. While a fruit spread from Flink's Finest private label costs 2.89 euros via the Flink app, customers pay 3.29 euros for it using the Wolt app. "Pricing is up to our local partners," a Wolt spokesperson is quoted as saying by Supermarktblog. "We do not exert any influence here as a Wolt platform." The items are apparently partly more expensive, but Wolt's delivery is slightly cheaper than with Flink.

The two companies do not want to communicate plans and details of the partnership at the moment. Therefore, it is still unclear whether other cities will be included in the partnership in the future.
