GenTwo secures Series A financing of USD 15 million

The Swiss fintech company GenTwo secures USD 15 million in Series A financing led by Point72 Ventures. The aim is to expand the company globally.
GenTwo, a Swiss B2B fintech company specializing in the securitization of bankable and non-bankable assets, announced that it has secured USD 15 million in Series A funding led by Point72 Ventures, a US-based firm. As part of this investment, Pete Casella, Senior Partner and Co-Head of Fintech Investments at Point72 Ventures, will join GenTwo's Board of Directors.

GenTwo was founded in Zurich in 2018 and has developed a financing platform called GenTwo PRO. This enables investment professionals to convert assets or investment strategies into bankable securities and bring them to market. With GenTwo, alternative and non-bankable assets such as real estate, artwork or digital assets can be made more accessible to investors. The company aims to meet the growing demand from asset managers and their clients for innovative financial products that enable diversification and active portfolio management.
