With 17.4 percent, Goldman Sachs is now the largest single shareholder in the Berlin-based company, which is currently worth 328 million euros on the stock exchange.

Goldman Sachs continues to increase its stake in Home24: only in mid-October it was 14.3 percent, now it is 17.4 percent, reports the industry portal Excitingcommerce. This makes the Americans the largest single shareholder in the Berlin start-up. Home24 currently has a stock market valuation of slightly less than 330 million euros, compared to 735 million euros when it went public in 2018.

The company has existed since 2009 and is now represented in continental Europe and Brazil. Home24 primarily offers furniture, and the company has recently grown strongly during the coronavirus pandemic. In the first half of 2021, turnover was up 52% year-on-year at 325 million euros, and Home24 is aiming for turnover of one billion euros by the end of 2023.

Recently, the start-up has increasingly focused on home textiles and accessories, "which increase customer frequency and lead to repeat purchases", as the company writes. To this end, Home24 has also expanded its management team.
