Goldman Sachs increases stake in Home24 again

With 17.4 percent, Goldman Sachs is thus the largest single shareholder in the Berlin-based company, which is currently worth 328 million euros on the stock market.

Goldman Sachs continues to increase its stake in Home24: as recently as mid-October, it was 14.3 percent, now it is 17.4 percent, reports the industry portal Excitingcommerce. This makes the Americans the largest single shareholder of the Berlin-based start-up. Home24 currently has a stock market valuation of slightly less than 330 million euros, compared to 735 million euros when it went public in 2018.

The company has been in existence since 2009 and is now represented in continental Europe and Brazil. Home24 mainly offers furniture, in the Corona pandemic, the company recently grew strongly. In the first half of 2021, with a turnover of 325 million euros, the increase was 52 percent compared to the same period last year, for the end of 2023, Home24 is aiming for a turnover of one billion euros.

Most recently, the startup has been focusing more on home textiles and accessories, "which increase customer frequency and lead to repeat purchases," according to the company. To that end, Home24 also expanded its management team.
