Infarm is apparently aiming for a large financing round

The Berlin start-up Infarm is apparently looking to raise 206 million euros, according to Sky News. Infarm itself has so far declined to comment on the matter.
Citing anonymous sources Sky Newsthat Infarm is aiming for a financing round of 206 million euros. The round is reportedly being led by Goldman Sachs. If the report is true, Infarm could become a unicorn. At the request of Gründerszene the start-up did not want to comment on the report and stated: "We do not comment on rumors and speculation."
Infarm was founded in Berlin in 2013. The start-up aims to sell organically produced herbs locally through vertical farming. The farms are located in various places in the city, such as supermarkets, restaurants and distribution centers. Infarm wants to build a global farming network that helps cities to become self-sufficient in food production while significantly reducing the ecological footprint of food.
