206 million euros, the Berlin-based start-up Infarm apparently wants to collect, reports at least Sky News. Infarm itself has so far declined to comment on the matter.

Citing anonymous sources, reports Sky Newsthat Infarm is seeking a financing round of 206 million euros. According to the report, the round is being managed by Goldman Sachs. If the report is true, Infarm could become a unicorn. Upon request by Gründerszene the start-up did not want to comment on the report, stating: "We do not comment on rumors and speculations."

Infarm was founded in 2013 in Berlin. The start-up wants to sell organically produced herbs locally through vertical farming. The farms are located in various places in the city, such as supermarkets, restaurants and distribution centres. Infarm aims to build a global farming network that helps cities become self-sufficient in food production while significantly reducing the environmental footprint of food.
