Interzero and Resourcify with 100 million euros waste partnership

Resourcify and Interzero partner to digitize Europe's recycling network and strengthen the circular economy. The collaboration gives Resourcify access to waste worth a further 100 million euros.
Hamburg/Cologne/Berlin - Resourcify, a waste management and recycling platform, has announced a comprehensive partnership with Interzero, a provider of circular services in Europe. This partnership will enable Interzero customers to use the Resourcify platform's digital waste management services with enhanced functionality. The new joint service is called Zero Waste Manager.
Through Zero Waste Manager, Interzero offers its customers an integrated digital solution to efficiently organize their waste management. Recycling partners from the network receive orders via the platform and then report back the performance data. This significantly improves the organization and execution of recycling processes for customers.
The partnership gives us the speed we need to grow and expand into new markets. We are excited to usher in a new era of digitally optimized recycling for our customers across Europe with Resourcify and the Zero Waste Manager.
Sebastiaan Krol, CEO Interzero Circular Solutions
The partnership between the companies strengthens Resourcify's position as a technology platform for waste management and recycling in Europe. At the same time, Interzero is expanding its own digital processes by gaining access to the technology. The partnership enables automated invoicing and payment processes as well as improved complaint handling.
By using state-of-the-art technology and integrating data analytics into the platform, Interzero's customers can reduce waste, increase recycling rates and close the loop on valuable resources. The partnership offers a growth potential of over 100 percent for Resourcify, which has so far managed over 100 million euros worth of waste annually.
For us, the partnership means a growth potential of more than 100%. To date, we have managed over 100 million euros worth of waste annually. The partnership with Interzero will enable us to double this figure in the future - and that's just across Germany.
Gary Lewis, CEO of Resourcify
The Zero Waste Manager is already being used by companies such as the burger restaurant chain Five Guys. The platform enables the systematic recording and linking of waste streams, waste and containers as well as auditable proof of resource-conserving handling.
The companies' partnership also includes separate data storage within the platform in order to separate customer and disposal partner data. Interzero has also made a strategic investment of 5 percent in Resourcify without receiving any co-determination or data rights.
