Klaeny takes over Levy & Frey

Founder Jo-Maren Witte is thus leaving her start-up. The two companies are not disclosing the purchase price.
The start-up for sustainable household products Klaeny has taken over Levy & Frey. The purchase agreement was signed at the beginning of September, as the sustainable shampoo manufacturer Levy & Frey announced on Linkedin announced. The two companies are keeping quiet about the purchase price.
With the sale, founder Jo-Maren Witte is leaving her start-up. Levy & Frey's products can now be found as a separate product line in Klaeny's online store. However, the store of the acquired start-up will remain open. In future, the shower products could also be sold together with Klaeny products in drugstores such as Galeria Kaufhof.
Levy & Frey had actually planned a new round of financing, founder Jo-Maren Witte told start-up scene. However, the possibility of an exit was also being considered at the same time. The two companies had already been in contact for some time and exchanged ideas on topics such as marketing.
