Münster - Runners can look forward to a new development in running. FALKE and TRUE MOTION have combined their expertise to present the "Ergonomic Sport System X TRUE MOTION". The focus is on TRUE MOTION's "U-TECHTM technology", which offers a special midsole construction for centered loading when running. This innovation is designed to optimize athletic performance while reducing the risk of injury.

Bootstrapping chosen by the wearer

TRUE MOTION pursues a promising sales strategy that relies on word of mouth and close cooperation with the running community. 90% of sales are made via retailers and the remaining 10% via the company's own website. The start-up focuses on functional features and cooperation with the running community. The start-up chose this self-financed path itself. It deliberately turned down investors with sums in the millions in order to retain its independence and be able to make its own decisions. From a long-term perspective, however, True Motion does not rule out financing rounds, as global expansion will probably require the involvement of investors.

The cooperation between FALKE and TRUE MOTION manifests itself in the FALKE X TRUE MOTION Nevos running sock, which interacts harmoniously with the running shoe. This system promises a 20% more precise alignment of forces when running and a 4% reduction in knee strain. The basis for this system is the innovative "U-TECHTM technology", which supports the natural running movement through a patented midsole construction. The forces are centered and the strain on the knee and Achilles tendon is reduced.

TRUE MOTION was founded in 2018 by Prof. Dr. Gert-Peter Brüggemann, Andre Kriwet and Christian Arens. The aim was to develop the "U-TECHTM technology" to minimize running-related injuries. The U-TECH Nevos and U-TECH Aion models have already received the ISPO Award. Today, TRUE MOTION offers five running shoe models based on biomechanical research.
