Lieferando and Getir cooperate across Europe

The two delivery companies Lieferando and Getir will be working together across Europe from next week. The Turkish food delivery company Getir will be able to place its entire product range on the Lieferando marketplace. In future, Lieferando will also be able to use the drivers of its new partner. Getir's typical delivery times and prices will apply.

In Germany, this is possible in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Cologne. The service is expected to be available in other cities by December. The companies plan to open up further markets in the coming weeks. In a press release, the delivery services name the UK, Spain, France and Italy as targets.

Lieferando was founded in 2009 and acquired by Just Eat Takeaway in 2014. Since then, the company has become one of the largest online marketplaces for food delivery. Getir, on the other hand, was founded in Turkey in 2015 and has also been active in Germany since 2021. For its Regional General Manager Turancan Salur, the collaboration is a win-win situation. "Just Eat Takeaway customers can choose from a wider range of products," he says. "At the same time, Getir will benefit from a significant increase in order numbers and continue to grow throughout Europe."
