Limehome raises 45 million euros

The Munich-based provider of designer apartments is about to expand into other European markets. The start-up has also attracted new investors.
The Munich-based start-up Limehome has raised 45 million euros in a financing round. The start-up is a provider and operator of digitalized designer apartments in Europe. Limehome now wants to use the new capital to expand into other European markets. The start-up also wants to take over existing operators.
The new money comes from two new investors, among others: the AW Rostamani Group from Dubai and Capital Four, a Scandinavian credit asset management boutique. According to Limehome, existing investors HV Capital, Picus Capital and Lakestar also participated in the financing round.
Founded in 2018 by Cesar de Sousa Freitas and Josef Vollmayr, the start-up now offers more than 3,000 apartments at 100 locations in seven countries. The company automates the necessary processes, from pricing and check-in to invoicing. According to the company, this business model makes it profitable. Turnover has also tripled annually during the pandemic.
